With years of experience in the private sector as an attorney and Republican Party leader, Sherman Swartz is running for Justice of the Peace. His conservative values and faith in God are the foundation of his commitment to Denton County families.
Denton County has six precincts. Precinct 3 includes Lewisville, Highland Village and Copper Canyon.
A native Texan, Sherman graduated from Denton High School and the University of North Texas. He received his law degree from Baylor University.
Sherman is a businessman. He spent his career in the private sector working with individuals, small businesses and Fortune 500 companies. He is committed to running Denton County like a business — not a bloated bureaucracy — to protect hardworking taxpayers.
Sherman has served as a Denton County Republican Precinct Chairman. He is a multi-year member of the Pro Bono College of the Texas State Bar, and was a member of the Denton County Storm Water Committee.
Sherman has provided free legal aid for seniors, students at NT & people in need at Christian Community Action He was member of the LISD Technology Committee He is on the Lewisville High School Killough Business Leadership Team.
Sherman & his wife, Brenda are raising four children, who attend Lewisville ISD schools. Ava dances Ballet. Richard runs cross country. Logan graduated from Texas Tech and is to attend Kings College. Steven mustered out of the Army as a Sergeant & was Army Time’s 2012 Soldier of the Year – He graduated from NT & John’s Hopkins. Sherman is a native Texan, living in the Lewisville area over 40 years.
